Moran Yarchi is an Associate Professor in the School of Communications, the Head of the Public Diplomacy Program, a Senior fellow at the Abba Eban Institute for Diplomacy, and a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya. Dr. Yarchi's main area of research is political communication, especially the media’s coverage of conflicts and public diplomacy. She has received various awards including the Nina Wain's Prize for international communication (2012), Hecht Prize (2012-2013), NCA’s conference top paper award (2015), and ICA’s conference top paper award (2014 and 2019). Dr. Yarchi received her Ph.D. from Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2012).
