Eric Fleisch is an Assistant Professor in the Jewish Studies Program at Penn State University. His research interests include Israel Studies, American Jewish history, philanthropy, and non-profit sector studies. Dr. Fleisch is currently finishing the manuscript for his first book, Checkbook Zionism: Philanthropy and Power in the Israel-Diaspora Relationship. Prior to joining the Jewish Studies Program at Penn State, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Lehigh University and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Brandeis University. He received his Ph.D. from Brandeis University (2014).
