Eytan Gilboa is a Professor Emeritus and Founder of the School of Communication, Senior Researcher at The BESA Center for Strategic Studies, and the Founder and former Director of the Center for International Communication at Bar-Ilan University. Professor Gilboa is also a Senior Fellow at the Center on Public Diplomacy at the University of Southern California. His fields of interest are International Communication, Public Diplomacy, US-Israel Relations, and the Arab-Israeli Conflict. He has published several books and numerous articles on public diplomacy, international communication and US policy in the Middle East. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard in 1974.
