Gil Kerer

An independent dancer, performer, teacher, and choreographer based in Tel Aviv, Gil has danced with Vertigo Dance Company, the young Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, and numerous independent choreographers. In 2012, he received a prize from the Israeli Artists Union in recognition of his unique voice in the Israeli dance scene. His work has been performed in Israel, across Europe and the Far East, and he has received awards for his choreography at festivals in Israel, Germany, and Sweden.

Gil searches for a human and direct approach to movement, exploring the connections between human behavior and emotion as they are expressed in the body.
