Noa Lavie is an Assistant Professor, Head of the Political Communication Unit at the School for Government and Society, and Head of the 'Young Studies' program at the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo. Dr. Lavie's fields of interest are labor in the media industries, quality discourse and television, global cultural taste, and television in transition in an era of streaming video on demand platforms (SVODs). She is currently working on a large scale research about Palestinian-Israeli TV actors and actresses with Professor Amal Jamal of the Tel Aviv University, with whom she won an ISF grant. Dr. Lavie received her Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University (2012).
