Shaul Shenhav is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the incumbent of the Herbert Samuel Chair in Political Science. His fields of interest include political communication, political behavior, and Israeli politics. Professor Shenhav is the co-founder and co-leader of a lab which develops new methods for automated textual analysis based on a combination of deep learning and expert coding of discourse and narrative elements. He recently co-authored, "What Happens to Peace When the Process is Stalled: Competing International Approaches to the Israeli–Palestinian Conflict, 1996–2021." Professor Shenhav received his Ph.D. from Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2004).
