Zvi Reich is an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Education Committee in the Department of the Department of Communication Studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He is a former journalist at Yedioth Aharonoth daily newspaper. His research interests focus on journalism studies, news sources, news practices, and epistemology. Professor Reich serves as a member of the Israel Press Council and the presidium of the Press Council. He recently co-authored, "Obsessive–Activist Journalists: A New Model of Journalism?," (Journalism Practice, 2022) and, "Trusting others: A pareto distribution of source and message credibility among news reporters," (Communication Research, 2022). Professor Reich received his Ph.D. from Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2004).
