Avishalom Westreich

Avishalom Westreich is an Associate Professor of Jewish Law, Family Law, and Jurisprudence, at the College of Law and Business in Ramat Gan, a Research Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem, and an Honorary Research Fellow at Manchester University. Professor Westreich's areas of expertise are Jewish law (ancient and modern), family law, and Talmud. His current research focuses on Talmudic law and modern family law (mainly marriage, divorce, and reproduction). He received his LL.B. and Ph.D. from Bar-Ulan University (2009 and 2006, respectively).
