Iati Ater is an Associate Professor of Business Economics and Strategy in the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University and a research Fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research's (CEPR) Industrial Organization Program. His fields of interest are industrial organization, antitrust, organizational economics and law and economics. His research examines the sources of the high cost of living in Israel. Specifically, how government policies, consumer behavior and firm actions contribute to the market outcomes in the food, automobile and real-estate markets. Professor Ater received his Ph.D. from Stanford University (2008).
