
Jay Rothman
Professor Jay Rothman is a scholar and practitioner of creative conflict engagement and participatory evaluation. Trained in international relations and group dynamics, his theoretical and applied work focuses on intergroup identity-based conflict and cooperation and the use of his evaluation methodology called Action Evaluation. He is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute for International Relations at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was previously an Associate Professor in the Graduate Program on Conflict Management, Resolution and Negotiation at Bar-Ilan University (2102-2018). Professor Rothman has authored three books and edited/co-edited two, and written more than four dozen journal articles about conflict resolution and participatory evaluation. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland at College Park (1989).
