Or Honig is an Associate Professor at Tokyo International University where he teaches about the Middle East and international security. His fields of interest include Israeli defense, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Israel in the Middle East, Jewish history in Europe and the Middle East, and U.S.-Israel relations. He is the author of a number of articles on intelligence, counterterrorism, and Middle East politics. Professor Honig's articles have appeared in various journals, including Security Studies, International Relations, Journal of Strategic Studies, and Studies in Conflict and Terrorism. His current research focuses on the political consequences of military defeats in the Middle East as well as on American foreign policy in the region. He received his Ph.D. from UCLA (2009).
