Ronit Peled-Laskov

Ronit Peled-Laskov is a clinical criminologist and a senior lecturer in the Department of Criminology at
Ashkelon Academic College, Israel. She has spearheaded studies on prisoners’ perseverance in work during and after their parole, including extensive interviews with prisoners and ex-prisoners, the results of which have been presented at national and international conferences and published internationally. In addition to her academic work, she worked for several years in therapy-based boarding schools for youth suffering from severe behavioral disorders and in closed psychiatric wards in mental health centers in Israel. Currently, she is the head of the Ethics Committee at Ashkelon Academic College.
