Tamar Arieli is an Associate Professor and Head of the Conflict Management Program at the Tel Hai College. Her fields of interest are spatial planning and policy with a focus on cross-border dynamics of cooperation and development as well as security and corruption. Dr. Arieli's current research projects include the conceptualization of a typology of border corruption and an analysis of the effect of working from a distance (from home) on the economic prospects of peripheral regions. She previously taught at San Diego State University and Indiana University--Bloomington. Dr. Arieli received her Ph.D. from Bar-Ilan University (2009).
