Tamar Arieli is an Associate Professor and Head of the Conflict Management Program at the Tel Hai College. Her fields of interest are spatial planning and policy with a focus on cross-border dynamics of cooperation and development as well as security and corruption. Dr. Arieli's current research projects include the conceptualization of a typology of border corruption and an analysis of the effect of working from a distance (from home) on the economic prospects of peripheral regions. She previously taught at San Diego State University and University of Indiana at Bloomington. Sr. Arieli received her Ph.D. from Bar-Ilan University (2009).
