Udi Sommer is an Associate Professor in the School of Political Science at Tel Aviv University. His fields of interest are comparative politics, American politics, politics of sexuality and gender, judicial politics, pandemics and politics, and cyber security. Dr. Sommer is member of the Israeli Young Academy for Science and the Scientific Council of the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center. He has previously taught at Columbia University, State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany, and SUNY Stony Brook. Dr. Sommer is the co-author of, Producing Reproductive Rights
Determining Abortion Policy Worldwide (Cambridge University Press, 2019). He received his Ph.D. from State University of New York at Stony Brook (2007).
