Prof. Yael Parag is the Vice Dean of Reichman University School of Sustainability. She holds a BSc degree in biology, and MA and PhD degrees in social sciences. Between 2005 and 2011 she was a researcher in the Environmental Change Institute (ECI), at the University of Oxford, UK and later a senior researcher at the ECI Energy Group. Her research focuses on future electricity markets, prosumer markets, peer-to-peer trading, community energy and microgrids, demand flexibility, consumer behavior and consumer engagement, smart energy technologies, energy security, public acceptance of energy generation technologies, personal carbon trading and more. She is the Israeli representative at the EU Positive Energy District COST action and an editorial board member of the journals Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews and Energy Research and Social Science.
