Zohar Gazit is a faculty member at the The Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His area of expertise is death and bereavement rituals in Israeli society. Dr. Gazit has published a number of articles in scholarly journals, including Contemporary Social Science: Journal of the Academy of Social Sciences, Gerontology, and Sociology: Israeli Sociological Society Information Booklet. He received his Ph.D. from Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2015).
