David Lehrer is the Director of International Development at the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies. His fields of interest
are water, energy, and food security in underserved communities in the Middle East and how cross-border cooperation can advance humanitarian solutions as well as build trust among neighbors. He co-authored "Managing nature conservation prioritization: a spatial conservation planning index approach," (Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, 2021). Dr. Lehrer received his Ph.D. from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
